The jarrah used in this bowl came from the old rafters from my carport. They are beautifully rich dark red and approx 90 years old. They also contain the fiddleback grain. A friend gave me a very spiky piece of white mallee burl from the Murray river. So I added some clear resin and inserted it sideways into the jarrah, then turned it on the lathe. I love it.
